Our great sponsors
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • Tiger VNC

High performance, multi-platform VNC client and server

  • Here https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial/how-to-start-a-vnc-server-for-the-actual-display-scraping-with-tigervnc/ it says you should use the scraping server if all you need is desktop share instead of a remote session. But on the TigerVNC Github page it is pretty clear I should stay away from it:

  • ogon

ogon session manager and RDP server

  • As for xrdp, I love that project. Providing RDP access to linux seems to have much less latency to Guac than just raw VNC. Even though xrdp is connecting locally to VNC. One day I'll try ogon out. Once wayland is a but more universally usable.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

    WorkOS logo
  • guac-install

Script for installing Guacamole on Ubuntu

  • guacamole-ansible-role

Ansible role to install and configure Guacamole with MySQL/MariaDB
