With ImprovedTube, cards only appear when the mouse hovers over the screen, Theater mode actually takes up the entire window regardless of the aspect ratio of the video, and the search bar only appears when hovering near the top of the page. This is just how I have my version of ImprovedTube set up, there are of course tons of options.
