Isn't that just actually fantastic? Well, I thought so. so much that I made a script so I can play with VFIO passthrough any time on the commandline with various PCI devices my desktops and laptops have, including the GPU occasionally. That all started around the same time I built my new tiny pc which sits on the desk with me instead of the floor. The memory and cpu clock speed increase is so much better alone that it made passthrough performance that much better as well.
