  • hosts

🔒 Consolidating and extending hosts files from several well-curated sources. Optionally pick extensions for porn, social media, and other categories.

  • I use VPN, but PI-Hole is good. If you don't have raspberry pi then you can go to this github repo: https://github.com/StevenBlack/hosts And replace your local /etc/hosts on Linux or Windows, it should with just like PI-Hole.

  • AdGuardHome

Network-wide ads & trackers blocking DNS server

  • Here are the differences between the two direct from AdGuard: https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdGuardHome#comparison-pi-hole

  • whitelist

A simple tool to add commonly white listed domains to your Pi-Hole setup.

  • I recommend you to add common whitelisted domain. The anudeep whitelist is the best. Here is the link to the guide: https://github.com/anudeepND/whitelist You can clone the repo and run py script to add automatically all domain. Here are the commands in order to execute :

  • NewPipe

A libre lightweight streaming front-end for Android.

  • If you're on Android, I'd recommend using NewPipe instead. Respects your privacy, blocks ads, allows background and screen-off playback, has a resizable pop-out player, built-in video downloader and audio extractor. And it's open-source!

  • TwitchAdSolutions

  • Follow Pixeltris' instructions for how to add a Twitch ad block script to uBlock https://github.com/pixeltris/TwitchAdSolutions#twitchadsolutions

  • espresso-hole

Discontinued EspressoBin-based personal router with ad blocking

  • Currently in the process of setting up my EspressoBin v7 as a router/firewall/ids/pihole. (Not following that guide, but it gives a good idea of the device). It’s more static than my raspberry pi’s I tend to reboot once in a while, and use for all sorts of projects. The new Espresso in Ultra also seems nice, but I’m waiting for some iterations on the hardware before buying that one.

  • Pi-hole

A black hole for Internet advertisements

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • pihole5-list-tool

A tool for quickly and easily bulk adding allow and ad/block lists to a Pi-hole 5 installation

  • Thank you. While searching how to apply wally3k adlist, I came across a script https://github.com/jessedp/pihole5-list-tool. It add wally3k adlist plus whitelist. Is it OK to use above script.
