The C++ Core Guidelines** (http://isocpp.github.io/CppCoreGuidelines/CppCoreGuidelines) are indispensable for beginners as well; when in doubt, look it up there as if you're using a thesaurus, dictionary, bible, or whatever. And the two most relevant sub-reddits are r/cpp_questions which is geared at beginners and r/cpp which is geared more towards general C++ ecosystem news and discussion. There's some good and helpful Discord channels as well, especially the one called C++ Help).
