  • swc

a library for making a simple Wayland compositor (by michaelforney)

  • swc is a wayland compositor library implementation in about 10k sloc.

  • velox

    velox window manager (by michaelforney)

  • Combine this with the velox dwm-inspired window manager and you have yourself a full graphical wayland environment in about 12k sloc. I don't really see a reason to keep xorg so I will be purging it from all of my machines.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • Other: doas (opendoas package on void) in place of sudo, 9front or plan9 and factotum in place of Linux and PAM.

  • waymonad

A wayland compositor based on ideas from and inspired by xmonad

  • Installation is easy on arch-based distros, if you want something like xmonad, you could use waymonad, but it uses the wlroots library, which is a lot less minimal than SWC, but no where near as complex than X.

  • samurai

ninja-compatible build tool written in C

  • This means ninja is popular both on embedded for its tiny footprint (samurai is about 3k sloc and portable), and for humongous projects like Chrome, because it is infinitely scalable in complexity due to its genaration method.
