In terms of high level overview which is not horribly out of date, probably not I am afraid. You have the reference docs at https://ned14.github.io/llfio/ which are the only thing up to date. Some of the classes have small essays preceding them with design rationale and implementation specifics you may need to know. In terms of why the design is the way it is today, it came out this way from the feedback given during a Boost peer review of a preceding library back in 2015. There have been various past CppCon and other conference presentations on LLFIO (or AFIO preceding it), but they were all generally on specific parts, not on whole overview.
