    • the grass will always be greener on the other side, I didn't like the thumb placement of the sofle when i looked at build a split ergo. So i build 2 lily58s, they're great. i would like to get rid of my mouse too because sofle can be nicely wired with a trackball. But as I go through QMK docs and understand more, the less keys i need. I do recommend reading qmk or zmk doc first. ferris doesn't look so bad now. What are you going to use your encoder for? i made a macro pad with encoder to only find out i have no idea what ill use it for.
