A hashing algoritm doesn't encrypt. It hashes, it's a one way function. Something that is hashed can't be reversed. Depending on the wallet, usually a seed is used to secure a hardware wallet. This seed is a set of words that are deterministic and when re-entered will gain access to your wallet again. Bitcoin Core uses a wallet.dat file, check this page for more info https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/6b8a5ab622e5c9386c872036646bf94da983b190/doc/README
