Hi everyone, I'm excited to post this success. I had tried to install Big Sur before on this laptop but failed. Apparently an issue with booting was resolved in the latest OpenCore 0.6.7. I followed the Dortania guide and managed to get most things working. I borrowed a SSDT file from hagenest's repo to get the battery working.

I also had this problem and worked with one of the main OC developers to help test the fix on my ThinkPad X390. Check out this github thread and the other issues linked there, the fix in 0.6.7 seems to have fixed just about every modern ThinkPad and Surface Pro 7 that was having this problem

3) The touchscreen may require you to create a new USBMap.kext. The one provided was for my L13. Your X13 likely needs changes. It is a fairly easy process using USBMap. It will take you longer to read through the process the first time than actually creating it.
