Show HN: Build your startup or side project faster with these SaaS templates

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on news.ycombinator.com

Our great sponsors
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • Avo

Build Ruby on Rails apps 10x faster (by avo-hq)

  • Quality is often much better with these kinds of templates and frameworks, because the creators often can make better default choices.

For example, Avo (https://avohq.io) and Bullet Train (https://bullettrain.co/) are IMHO both much higher quality out of the box than what a typical intermediate Rails developer could accomplish in months of full time learning and coding.

  • rails-tabler-starter

Free and open source Ruby on Rails starter kit built using Tabler

  • You can check out this free and open-source rails starter kit that I'm working on

    Github - https://github.com/tarunvelli/rails-tabler-starter

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • litestar

Production-ready, Light, Flexible and Extensible ASGI API framework | Effortlessly Build Performant APIs

  • I thought Litestar was the recommendation these days over FastAPI. Is it not?

  • create-t3-app

The best way to start a full-stack, typesafe Next.js app

You still would need to add Stripe but there are so many examples publicly available that it should be straight forward

  • nextjs-subscription-payments

Clone, deploy, and fully customize a SaaS subscription application with Next.js.

  • I use this as a subscription Stripe starter: https://github.com/vercel/nextjs-subscription-payments/tree/...

Still quite a bit of customisation to do, but was a good starter.

  • pocketbase

Open Source realtime backend in 1 file

  • Really hard to find projects related Go and HTMX but I found pocketbase it is based on Go. Interesting and seems promising - https://pocketbase.io/ based on sqllite but great for simple SaaS products

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
