InfluxDB
Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
It’s a microcosm of the problem but I’m amused by the GitHub repository that contains the methods to scrape the bin calendar data from the UK’s councils. It’s not finished, yet there are tons of Python scripts there for each of the different ways councils present bin data, from JSON APIs to ICS calendars to HTML pages that appear to be updated manually. Why are they all different? That’s a ton of replication for a fundamentally similar problem.
