  • I think I need to filter out the Alaska and Hawaii observations separately, apply the same transformation as in the USSF package, and then put them back in my sf object (or probably could just use tidyverse and conditionally transform them without the manual removal/addition). However, I'm not sure what this code needs to look like. I have tried, and it's clear that I've never done transformations like this before. I'm attaching a screenshot of what this mess looks like right now.
