There's also an extension for the webui https://github.com/ljleb/sd-webui-neutral-prompt that helps deal with this concern.
When you do need explicit colors you can try something like this: "[light:pink:0.5] hair". Then the first iterations will use "light hair" and halfway through it will switch to "pink hair". That should minimize the pink bleeding into everything. I use this trick extensively in my CloneCleaner extension. See the color prompts here.
