  • lumi

Lumi is a Node.js module that allows you to adjust the brightness of your internal and external monitors. (by carlelieser)

  • I recently developed a desktop app, Glimmr, that allows you to adjust brightness of your monitors without having to physically fiddle or navigate your monitor's built-in settings. It even lets you artificially set the brightness level for monitors that don't support the native windows interface (old monitors or those connected through an adapter). It is closed-source, however the node module I developed to interface with the windows api to actually set the brightness natively, lumi, is open-source if you want to check it out.
