SaaSHub
SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews. SaaSHub helps you find the best software and product alternatives
The installation guide is on the Github page of the process. Be sure to have set a password with passwd because you will need it to install packages with pacman. Then just copy the install commands and the rest gets done by the script. After the installation is done reboot and you are done.
there is a small error in the readme installation guide 'git clone https://github.com/chicaco-carone/PacmanHome.git' 'cd ~/pacmanhome' It tries to change directory to /pacmanhome instead of /PacmanHome which just spits out an error message. could be confusing when copy+pasting for people not familiar with linux
First there is the User Nix Steam Deck. This script creates a NixOS chroot on /home/ that doesn't mess with your system files!
The second is Distrobox. I dislike docker and podman, but people who doesn't have any issues with these container methods strongly like this to install packages.
To add to the options, Homebrew has also been working well for me.
