- Understand that .vrm models can only use MToon or unlit or standard shaders. That's it. That's why everyone was mad for a while years ago because it doesn't support custom shaders, lol. So usually people now will just stick to Mtoon. To get around this, go down the VSeeface path, then you can use custom shaders once you figure out their SDK to do so. I do not think VUP even allows custom shaders at all, is why. (https://github.com/emilianavt/VSeeFaceSDK)
