  • CSrankings

A web app for ranking computer science departments according to their research output in selective venues, and for finding active faculty across a wide range of areas.

  • The Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany, offers a machine learning master (Info). The program has 4 semesters/2 years, per semester there is a fee of ~260 USD, overall cost of living is dependent on lifestyle and rent, but can be ~800-1000 USD/month. On this ranking (parameter tuning:P) it achieved a world rank of 88, when the masters content is selected.. But of course, this would mean that you will be abroad for 2 years. Also, student workers in CS often get paid 12-16€/h as a salary, with 10-20h/week (which is feasible), you can get roughly 800€/month as income. If you have any questions I am open for it, I have studied Computer Science, Autonomous Systems and Visual Computing at TUDa.
