Best launcher for individual mods?

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/feedthebeast

Our great sponsors
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • PrismLauncher

A custom launcher for Minecraft that allows you to easily manage multiple installations of Minecraft at once (Fork of MultiMC)

  • Prism Launcher - It has a more minimal interface and is slightly more performant in terms of CPU usage. The built-in mod browser can pull from both of the 2 main modding sites, the interface shows more mods in the list, and it overall responds faster, but it will not automatically download dependency mods.

  • theseus

Our game launcher which can be used as a CLI, GUI, and a library for creating and playing Modrinth projects. (by modrinth)

  • Modrinth recently posted an alpha of their own Minecraft launcher, Theseus. I think it's comparable to CurseForge, in that it has a primary focus on searching for and installing mods and modpacks through its UI. (pictures) Keep in mind, however, that it is in alpha - it's not yet officially released. (download links anyway)

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
