Adblock is an old, outdated, sellout adblocker, use uBlock Origin instead, I don't guarantee this will fix the problem you're facing but it is something you should address anyway.

Good to know. uBlock Origin is a install-and-forget extension, but if you care, I recommend reading their wiki and learning how to use uBO to it's fullest extent, it can do much more than just simple adblocking.
