In case you need it, I found the DarkReader extension to be very useful for any site that doesn't offer a dark mode.
/r/RedditAlternatives tracks many. Some good, many bad. https://www.discourse.org/ is a good option for a modern Forum experience. Of course, many subreddits have Discords already as an option as well.
Yeah, I'm not sure what the Firefox devs are thinking, but I really like firefox on desktop (SimpleTab Groups and containers, along with not-neutered Ublock Origin). While I don't get that same experience on android, I can at least use tab and bookmark sync.
