If you go the PJ64 route, here is the GlideN64 plugin. Unfortunately, Project64's default video plugin, Glide64, is named very similarly, which trips up a lot of users into thinking they already have GlideN64.
Mupen64Plus forks and Project64 all use the same (arguably) horrible plugin system, which means you aren't missing out on much no matter what you use. Using a GUI Mupen64Plus fork like m64p or Rosalie's Mupen GUI will give you an effectively identical experience to just configuring Project64 to use the best plugins. Here are the plugins I use for PJ64. You might want to get Azimer's audio instead.
