Honestly I'd suggest just downloading the script instead, it's much easier to use and gives you boxes for the prompts rather than having to use all this stuff --> [txt2mask background[/txt2mask] It's up to you of course, but for me the extension conflicts with my favorite extension Dynamic Prompts anyway, so it had to go :( The stand-alone script still works mint tho haha.
As far as making the negative mask work using the extension's methods I don't really know, sorry! I tried it awhile back when it came out but found it too clunky and complex for me, so I probably would've stuck with the script even without the conflict. There is a ton of documentation on the Github for the extension tho, and the Dev is pretty responsive to questions so I'd ask there if you can't get it to do what you need, I'm sure someone will help you out and have a better answer for you :D
