For a while now I have slowly been working on hacking my Silvia. As most others do I started with an off the shelf PID controller, and while a great improvement, I wanted more and started hacking on my own controller after not being happy with what I found out there already. I call it EspressOS.
I did have to add RP2040 support for my dimmer library (https://github.com/fabianoriccardi/dimmable-light/pull/36), but apart from that the choice of MCU has been solid.
