I still quite like ulauncher (https://ulauncher.io/) - it’s got the Alfred feel about it and gets pretty close on functionality with plugins. I have tried to convert myself to krunner, but always end up coming back to ulauncher - it s not just appearance, some things in krunner just don’t work as I want. Perhaps time to make some plugins.
