trilogy
Trilogy is a client library for MySQL-compatible database servers, designed for performance, flexibility, and ease of embedding.
I think you are mistaken. When people talk of adapters, they talk about the Active Record code of things, and Rails already include one for all major databases (mysql, sqlite, postgresql): https://github.com/rails/rails/tree/main/activerecord/lib/active_record/connection_adapters
The "database client" (https://github.com/github/trilogy) isn't included in Rails, only the "adapter" (https://github.com/github/activerecord-trilogy-adapter) is.
