I exported a 50-second video on Davinci Resolve and the file size was 5 times bigger than the same video exported on another software. What could be the reason?

Capcut is not a tool commonly used for this, though. It's more common to use something like Adobe Media Encoder, Telestream Vantage, Apple Compressor, or ffmpeg. Commonly we recommend Shutter Encoder or Handbrake, which are both convenient graphical interfaces for ffmpeg, so you get that same great powerful tool. Shutter Encoder is way more flexible, offers a ton more options and features, but if all you need to do is make H.264 then Handbrake is way easier to use and more intuitive to work with.
