Mod managers for versions other than Steam?

Okay, so Steam workshop is the best way to go about it? In this case I can always use WorkshopDL to download the mods manually and use them in GOG until I get Gothic Universe if needed.

I'm not a fan of GD3D11 mods myself. If you want the game to look the same, and just have your GPU do more of work, use AltRenderer instead.
