You can symlink (or delete) the shader cache for each game individually with this custom flatpak and put the shaders on your SD card for games that have lower rez shaders and games with high rez graphics that you do not mind a short delay with loading shaders (such as turn-taking games). You can even add it to your steam library as a custom app for future shader cache data manipulation. It's been safe for me for the 4 months I have been using it and I have not encountered updated related problems so far fingers crossed
You can install things without disabling read-only with Rwfus
CRU (Custom Resolution Utility) when you apply the bin file below, can allow you to change the refresh rate of the screen on the fly. It will essentially give Windows different profiles for the display which. This can also let you set your preffered refresh rate in a game's settings.
Steam Deck Tools has a suite of programs, some I prefer to turn off. It installs custom performance controls, TDP controls, you can enable systemwide Xbox 360 controller emulation. You can also control the fan, and it has a setting that mimics SteamOS. This also is also where the Windows Virtual Keyboard is bound. Takes some tweaking to get it where you like but it feels a lot better.
