I used steps from [Bryan's tutorial](https://github.com/bryansteiner/gpu-passthrough-tutorial) and this OpenSUSE wiki page for setting up my VM.
There were maybe a couple other threads I referenced which pointed at using a kernel patch to disable some sort of check, but I'm not sure about this.
