For CrDroid, flash the rom, then flash microG Installer Revived. I also tried flashing (on a different clean rom) MiniMicrog. Same results: GPay, contact sync, and RCS not working.

If you want GAPPS and Unified NLP for location, try this Magisk module or this tutorial. I havent tried thr tutorial but I found out that with GAPPS the experience was clunky. If you disable google location services, it takes a long time to get a location from unifiedNLP. If you enable google location, you dont know if the location is provided by google or by unifiedNLP.
