For the past few weeks, I wanted to install a newer version of the Marlin firmware on my 3d printer, the LK4 PRO with the BL-Touch, and what better time after the 2.1.2 update! Sadly, it seems that LONGER3D won't release a newer version, as seen from their Marlin GitHub repository https://github.com/LONGER3D/Marlin2.0-lgt/tree/support-LKxPro. I thought to myself, “I'll do it myself! How hard could it be?” and boy, it's either hard or I'm extremely dumb.
I checked and checked, and I found https://github.com/Guizz27/Marlin---Longer-LKx-Pro! It seemed perfect until I scrolled and saw in bold letters “Do not try to update if your touch screen model is “T5L”, “DWTJ” or “DWTJB”.”. When I checked in my printer in the About section under Screen firmware ver. I saw “0.3.2-DWTJB”
