nds Forwarder with widescreen support?

I'm trying to find software to create an nds forward that has support for a widescreen patch. I have tried both YANBForwarder and NDSForwarder, both of which say they have widescreen support, but after following the listed instructions and installing their respective widescreen patches, I got nothing. Are there any troubleshooting steps I can take? Is there another software I could try?

i don’t really get what this question is asking honestly, when i did it i just followed the instructions on how to install the widescreen patch on https://wiki.ds-homebrew.com/twilightmenu/ so maybe that’ll help
