I don't particularly need tmux session but I like tiling terminal. Recently I was able to get seemless keyboard navigation integration with this plugin https://github.com/knubie/vim-kitty-navigator
For the filesystem I use https://github.com/nvim-neo-tree/neo-tree.nvim in floating mode so it does not pollute my terminal view when I don't need it

So I made a plugin, works similarly to tmux. E.g. ctrl-space fuzzy switches between tabs.
