Best way to manipulate files inside neovim?
Also you can use your file browser such as neo-tree, nvim-tree, or even netrw.
Occasionally I'll use neotree for simple things, but I usually just open a tmux split and do it in the terminal. In the terminal, it's either directly at the CLI or using vifm or nnn.
You can ranger inside of Neovim with this plugin rnvimr. Check it out. Neo-tree is another plugin that I like as a file manager. And also mini.files is another option if you prefer a more minimal approach and the ability to manipulate files like you edit a normal Neovim buffer. I'm pretty sure there are other great options out there as well, these are just my personal preferences.

i want to be able to see all my buffers at once. is it possible to have a buffer tree, or multiline buffers?
I looked into using some tree component that shows buffers in a vertical list, but it doesn't seem like that's possible. NeoTree has a way to use buffers as a source, but it can't show all buffers at once: https://github.com/nvim-neo-tree/neo-tree.nvim/issues/885

Which file explorer do you use?
I like neo-tree.nvim it allows you to replace a couple more plugins.
