Presumably you're still stuck manually doing this but sounds like performance isn't expected to be great if going that route.
Interesting to me to see Command and Conquer Remastered on the list of seemingly-now-supported titles. On a semi-related note, OpenRA (based on the classic Command and Conquer) has a note on it's early 2023 playtest build that it's now available for Apple silicon](https://www.openra.net/).
Don't think there's a proper fix just yet judging from this issue, which links to an open issue for needing geometry shaders (described as not-a-priority).
