  • Need a little help understanding how the DNS handoff works. When using the AdGuard private DNS service and I visit adguard-dns.io, it just tells me that I'm using my private Adguard DNS server (no location information). If I connect my VPN, it tells me that I am connected to the New York DNS server. I am physically located closest to the Chicago server and even when connecting to the Chicago VPN server it still tells my I am using the NY DNS server.
