Not sure what you’re looking at building, but take a look at OCA/queue - https://github.com/OCA/queue - it might suit what you’re trying to achieve? That said l, Odoo’s framework doesn’t support await async per se, but in some circumstances I guess it could work? I don’t think it would work in your controller definition though.
