I don't think any standard way to do that exists. For Plasma, you can use ~/.config/plasma-workspace/env/. For other desktop environments, you'll have to use the SDDM feature that sources your shell profile (see here) and actually add code there to detect which session is being launched and set whatever environment you want. If I'm reading the script right, you should be able to check $0 to identify when the profile is being sourced from the SDDM wrapper (Xsession or wayland-session) and then $1 to identify the session at that point.
