If you have a Raspberry Pi around or PC that you are willing to add it to, Home Assistant has a Kia Uvo Integration that could take your alerts and stop/start charging. Not a small project. The Home Assistant subgroup is very helpful though. I wish I could help more but I don't have a Kia EV yet. I can help with Home Assistant and getting the Integration installed though.
Not sure if you got this sorted but there's this thread on the HA forum and also this live hourly pricing integration. and the Kia Uvo integration supposedly works with the Niro according to this thread.
