Yes, although I’ve been a Linux user for many years, I didn’t really do any gaming on it until using the steam deck. The progress wine / proton has made is amazing since I last tried and I’ve since removed the windows partition altogether with next to no consequence to any of the games I play. I use an arch-based distro (Manjaro) and my experience it’s on par with the steam deck, adding packages like gamescope to bring it even closer (https://github.com/Plagman/gamescope). I also dabbled with HoloISO (based off steam deck recovery - https://github.com/theVakhovskeIsTaken/holoiso) it’s as close to steam deck you’ll get but it can get a little ‘twitchy’ at times.

A word of advice, don't bother with Manjaro
