- ArkOS development has been fairly active, with numerous updates for 353 devices released throughout November/December.
- JELOS's developers have moved away from releasing public binaries, now developing their project as sourcecode only, and are dropping support for Anbernic's ARM-based devices like the 353 series to focus on newer and more capable x86-based devices.... but leaving the option open for others to continue to support these devices using JELOS's exisiting code, to build and/or release their own binaries as they see fit.
- Still no sign of a build of Lakka for the 353 series... Lakka is the official Linux distribution of Retroarch/Libretro, which powers many of the emulators on these firmwares behind the scenes.
- UnofficialOS (or "uOS" for short), a volunteer project powered by JELOS and run by the two-dev team RetroGFX and oOblik, has already begun to release public builds based on JELOS, figuring things out along the way, and continuing support for the 353 series.
- AmberELEC (formerly 351ELEC) has just announced that their releases will be expanded to include builds for 353 devices, applying JELOS's prior work to speed things along, with a public release to come "when it's done."
