    • - PC is the second most active, and partly because of iw4x. IW4x is an open source project that allows you to set up your own dedicated servers with modifications for Modern Warfare 2 on top of a decentralized network. Main issue is the lack of vanilla lobbies and possible ping (it's region based). You can of course also play it on Steam but beware of hackers (there is an RCE exploit sadly but the patch is available in this sub's Discord) and of lack of support. However for Australians the steam version is safe to play via http://www.dedigamer.com/ These are dedicated servers hosted by a top bloke who's reverse engineered the game. It improves the experience as well as having great connection for anyone on the continent. Join the Discord above as there is a PC channel too.
