If you want Multimaterial Capabilities for your Voron, then an ERCF will be of interest to you. Once you've done the Voron and got THAT running print a single Filament_Block_xN.stl and a [a]_Magnetic_Gate_X.stl to test your print accuracy and fit - The ERCF lives and dies by how accurate you both print its parts and then calibrate it.
If you plan to go ERCF consider building your Voron V2.4 as a CAN System to free up the required 2nd Stepper Motor Driver for the ERCF on the Octopus Board allowing you to drive the entire setup from just one Board ( and well the CAN Board for the Tool Head ) instead of an Octopus + the ERCF Easy Brd. My ERCF Easy Brd ( from DFH ) seems to be of either subpar quality or somewhat finnicky in general - Most time it works but sometimes it totally fucks and considering it being a highly specialized niche Part I'd now argue in favor of keeping the System simple by using a single "Professional" Main Board I suspect not being plagued by such problems. The cobbled together ERCF Easy Brds may one day fall out of favor leaving you a sitting duck if it kicks the bucket with no replacements in sight whereas the 8 Stepper Driver and CAN Boards seem to have a much more likely staying power.
