  • The point is just a different implementation of viewing the data that crates.io has. I find Lib.rs massively faster and generally nicer to use, of course right up until it's inaccessible... But generally I would say it's mostly an aesthetic choice. If you don't notice much speed difference, I don't think there'd be much or anything over Crates.io.
