Can you still do OTA updates via TWRP without decrypting the data?

    • I am currently using TWRP 3.7 on Xiaomi Mi 6 which does not support Android 12.1 encryption. I have never tried sideloading updates via TWRP while the data partition was encrypted. Would it corrupt the installation? I believe, in theory it should not be touching the encrypted portions of the filesystem while doing the updates, but don't want to risk it before asking the community.
