I personally try to do 1 app = 1 AppVM but it needs a lot of RAM if you want to use a lot at the same time. My vault is network isolated and I have everything that should not be linked together (identity and other internet stuff) on different VMs (personal, hardened firefox for general browsing..). I'm now on 4.1 and I'm looking to do a Disp Firefox with bookmark implementation and do a lot more Disp setup in the future for any kind of activity.

  • GitHub repo tunle

    Dockerized Tunneling for Containers

    Project mention: I2P applications wish list? | | 2021-09-24

It can be both. We can get a lot of cool stuff for free, including federated services like activitypub based Twitter, Reddit, and yes even Youtube alternatives, if someone adds I2P support to this docker container as usual I'm working on it( but if someone else can do it faster then I'm happy to back off and help them instead. Transparently proxying a docker container to I2P-enable ActivityPub S2S connection instantly makes supporting ActivityPub and WebTorrent apps easier.

Project mention: Host a Matrix chat server over Tor | | 2021-02-07

Yes, I think you could be fairly confident that approach won't leak your IP address. You could probably prevent the software from being able to access your real IP address or make non-tor network requests without dedicating a full VM, by using things like network namespaces and/or a filtering gateway, but that'd be a bit more DIY
