  • Project mention: How to contribute on GitHub with minimal coding experience? | /r/CodingHelp | 2023-05-19

I have an open source project called sbozyp, which is a package manager for Slackware's SlackBuilds.org. It is about 70% finished, but in a good state with a complete test suite. Unfortunately I am currently too busy to work on it. I would be willing to mentor you through completing this project, which should take about 6-weeks of working 4 hours per day on it. It may take a bit longer depending on your skill level. I can teach you how to write maintainable and testable code for small/medium sized projects.

NOTE: The open source projects on this list are ordered by number of github stars. The number of mentions indicates repo mentiontions in the last 12 Months or since we started tracking (Dec 2020).
