  • awesome-vite

⚡️ A curated list of awesome things related to Vite.js

Project mention: Show HN: Integrated ViteJS SSR in Rust | | 2022-05-16

    Hi HN community,

One of the first requests I got for ‘create-rust-app’ was from a friend of mine regarding ViteJS. At the time, I didn’t know how awesome and fast ViteJS was as opposed to webpack and the name sounded like a JavaScript library so I didn’t really see the point. Upon a second review of the project, I realized the best thing I could do for the rust web dev community was to create an example of how to integrate ViteJS-based SSR in rust. And voilà, here it is. The docs also link to an “awesome list” which references create-rust-app [1].

This integration paves the way for things like adding multiple front end framework choices for the project and potentially doing SSG in rust.

Project mention: Prefer the English Style of Quotation Mark Punctuation over the American | | 2021-09-15

I tried to implement some linting rules for quotation mark and punctuation once. Took me way too much time and effort. It's mostly trial and error but good enough I guess to highlight the most blatant abuses.

    Anyway, here is the code:

  • tailwindcss-animate.css

Animate CSS plugin for Tailwind CSS

Project mention: Using Animate.css with Tailwind CSS | | 2022-01-18

So, I thought of writing some plugin-like stuff that adds Animate.css animations and the necessary animation utilities to make things easier. There wasn't any specific reason to choose Animate.css over other libraries. It was just a thought that let's start with the most popular one, then add the others later. Firstly I started searching if any similar package exists or not. There is tailwindcss-animatecss but it requires way too much configuration for JIT mode. There wasn't much activity on its repository, so instead of contributing to it, I started working on a package of my own - animated-tailwindcss.
