Rather than renumbering these patches by hand, however, I would recommend downloading the ZOIA Librarian app (the development of which was led by u/meanmedianmoge), once you have your computer back: https://github.com/meanmedianmoge/zoia_lib

Have you tried using the librarian app to renumber them? (https://github.com/meanmedianmoge/zoia_lib) It's possible there's some syntax issue; I'm really not sure. (I generally use the librarian for renumbering, because it's very easy for my simple mind to click and drag things.)
